TEAM COACHING AND TEAM BUILDING
Challenge
A team is more than just a group of individuals. Several factors are important for a team to function properly. Consider for example having a common goal and a clear agreement on the roles and tasks.
The way of management is also important; is the manager a match with the team? Sometimes events from the past also still of influence. We help the team members creating more connection and overcome issues that hinder the team.
Approach
Our team processes start with an intake with both the manager and a number of team members. From there we make a plan. Every team is different! We also conduct individual coaching conversations with the participants during the process.
At the beginning and the end of the program, we measure the trajectory on an individual and organisational level.
Way of working
In our sessions we work we have the following way of working:
-
Establishing a common team goal, team values and responsibilities
-
Successful teams using the pyramid of Lencioni
-
Tuckman's group stages
-
The behavioural styles based on the Insights Discovery methodology using individual profiles, a teamwheel and team graphics
-

-

TEAM COACHING

In this session, participants get to know each other better in a personal way. In a competition, we work with personal information about each other. What did you look like as a child and what kind of child were you? What unique facts do we not yet know about you? And which TV clips ever impressed you, and why?
The participants hear things about each other they haven't heard before. This often creates extra appreciation, understanding or empathy for each other. All of this together contributes to more connection and a greater sense of unity in the team.
The winner of the game receives a nice prize that suits the team well.

The better the cooperation, the faster the puzzles are solved and the more points are earned. This session is therefore aimed at collaboration.
After the session, a reflection takes place. We ask the team members about their approach or strategy, how well they listened to each other and how decisions were made. And most important: how do they recognise this in their daily work?

TEAM-BUILDING SESSION: BEHAVIOURAL STYLES
In this session, the participants create the cover of a magazine about themselves. We offer this workshop in collaboration with Kairos Consultancy. The input for the covers is being collected in small clinics. This way people get to know themselves and each other better. Participants also go home with a professional (digital) photo of themselves.
It's also possible to have more than just a cover, for example a mini magazine. A magazine (cover) via Kairos is often used to get to know each other better or as an extensive resume for entrepreneurs or job seekers. The coverworkshop can also be used as a great end of a learning process; think of programs for trainees or high potentials for example.
A cover (or a mini magazine) can be a beautiful representation of what the participant has gained by following the program.
